Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy regulates the provisions regarding the use of information and documents shared by the parties ("User(s)") who have entered into a User Agreement with eMuhasebe during their use of the Site ("Platform") located at emuhasebe.com with Emuhasebe Software Technologies Joint Stock Company ("Company"). The Privacy Policy is an annex and integral part of the User Agreement concluded with the User.

The Content uploaded to the Site by the User is the property of the User. The Company will not disclose or sell this Content without the prior consent of the User.

The Company will not disclose the Content transmitted to it electronically through the Site to third parties outside the purposes and scope determined by the User Agreement made with Users. In this context, the Company undertakes to keep the Content strictly private and confidential, to regard this as a duty of confidentiality, and to take all necessary measures and show due diligence to ensure and maintain confidentiality, to prevent all or any part of the confidential information from entering the public domain or unauthorized use or disclosure to a third party.

If the User gives consent to the Company, Content may be processed, stored, and transferred to third parties by the Company and its partners to provide the services requested by the User for purposes such as payment transactions, invoicing and processing, bank integration, virtual office allocation, third-party applications to which the User grants access, and direct marketing within the scope of the consent given by the User.

The Company may disclose Content to other users for the purpose of providing requested services such as sending invoices and sharing payment information. If the User wishes to use Content belonging to another user, they will obtain consent from the relevant user and use the Content within the scope of this consent.

Personal information may be used to contact the User or improve the User's experience on the Site (such as maintenance and support for services, development of existing services, creation of new services, and offering personalized services), as well as for database creation, maintaining memberships, and other activities necessary to provide the Company's services to the User, and may process, store, and transfer to third parties.

The Company may anonymize the usage and transaction information of the User on the Site and store, process, and transmit it to business partners for the period necessary to achieve these purposes for use in statistical evaluations, performance evaluations, marketing campaigns and donation campaigns of the Company and its business partners, annual reports and similar reports.

Information requested from Users who respond to periodic or non-periodic surveys conducted through the Site and who consent to the processing of their personal information may be used by the Company for direct marketing, statistical analysis, and database creation purposes.

The Company may also share information belonging to the User with third parties in the following circumstances:

  • When disclosure is mandatory for the fulfillment of obligations under the User Agreement,
  • When information about users is requested for the purpose of conducting an investigation or inquiry properly conducted by an authorized administrative or judicial authority in accordance with relevant legislation,
  • When providing information is necessary to protect the rights or safety of Users.

For the identification and resolution of technical problems related to the system, the Company may need to identify and use users' IP addresses in necessary cases. IP addresses may also be used to identify users in a general manner and to collect comprehensive demographic information.

The Company has the right to transfer data related to the above-mentioned purposes to its servers located anywhere in the world outside the country where the User resides (servers may belong to itself, its affiliated companies, or subcontractors).

It is possible to provide links to other sites and applications through the Site, and the Company does not bear any responsibility for the privacy practices and content of these sites and applications.

Chrome Browser Extension Privacy Notice

This notice relates to data processed during the use of the "e-Muhasebe Assistant" browser extension developed by Emuhasebe Software Technologies Joint Stock Company and offered through the Chrome Web Store.

1. Data Collected

1.1. Data Not Collected

The Chrome browser extension does not collect, store, or share the following data:

  • Username and password information
  • Identity verification information (National ID No, Tax No, etc.)
  • Credit card and payment information
  • Browser history
  • Personal message content
  • Content of visited web pages
  • Invoice, accounting, customer, and taxpayer records

1.2. Locally Stored Data

The extension stores only the following technical data in the user's own browser:

  • User preferences: Wait times and technical settings
  • Transaction status information: Successful / failed transaction counts
  • Temporary transaction data: Automatically deleted when the transaction is completed

This data is kept only on the user's device and is not sent to any server.

2. Browser Permissions

The Chrome extension uses only the permissions necessary for the service to function:

  • storage: Storing user settings in the browser
  • tabs: Interaction with tabs where the user is actively working
  • scripting: Filling form fields at the user's explicit request
  • webNavigation: Tracking page load status

These permissions are not used for any purpose other than the core function of the service.

3. Purpose of Data Use

Data processed within the scope of the extension is used only for:

  • Providing the service
  • Resolving technical errors
  • Improving user experience
  • Notifying the user of transaction results

It is absolutely not used for the following purposes:

  • Displaying advertisements
  • Behavioral analysis
  • Creating user profiles
  • Marketing or data sales
  • Data mining

4. Data Transmission and Sharing

The extension only interacts directly with:

  • Official government systems,
  • Accounting software,
  • Web applications where the user personally conducts transactions

at the explicit instruction of the user.

Information entered during these interactions is not stored or recorded by the extension.

No data obtained through the extension is shared with:

  • Advertising providers,
  • Analytics or tracking services,
  • Marketing platforms,
  • Third-party data brokers

5. Data Security and Storage

  • Sensitive data is not stored by the extension
  • Temporary data is automatically deleted when the transaction is completed
  • Local data is kept only in the user's browser

The user can delete all local data at any time by removing the extension or using the in-extension cleanup options.

6. User Rights

Users have the following rights under KVKK and GDPR:

  • Right to information
  • Right of access
  • Right to rectification
  • Right to erasure
  • Right to object to data processing

Since the extension does not collect personal data, most of these rights are already technically protected.

7. Children's Privacy

This browser extension is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly process personal data belonging to this age group.

The Company may change the provisions of this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing them on the Site. Changes made by the Company take effect on the date they are published on the Site.
